Job Description:

We are creating a team to incubate cloud-native networking opportunities. The environment is fast paced with dedicated engineering support. The technology stack changes every three months. Our customers are looking to move quickly by adoption cloud native platforms like Kubernetes backed by an organization that can provide enterprise grade support and features. The Principal Product Manager role is a product leader within the next generation networking product team. The role is responsible for customer adoption, POC management and open-source strategy development.

Open source business and product expertise in application delivery, application development, security or other relevant space Working knowledge of microservices, traditional application architectures and the integration strategies to tie both together Expertise in application deployment workflow stacks (CICD): CNCF versions,( e.g. Spinnaker and Kayeneta), public cloud versions (e.g. CodeDeploy), traditional versions (e.g. Jenkins) Working with a list of customers to insert Kubernetes in their deployment while leveraging new or existing Citrix ADCs and controllers Develop deployment models for the cloud to ensure that customers deploying Kubernetes can run their workloads with Citrix ADCs. Contribute or write blogs, competitive notes, deployment guides, YAML files Experience designing and deploying open-source platforms end-to-end

Role and Responsibilities:

This functional role will be focused on driving customer adoption of Citrix ADC products, working with a list of customers to insert Kubernetes in their deployment while leveraging new or existing Citrix ADCs and controllers Drive or modify product requirements for both North-South and East-West use cases for Citrix ADC controllers and proxies Drive product requirements for CICD integrations Drive product requirements with engineering and use customer data to justify the business rationale Develop deployment models for the cloud to ensure that customers deploying Kubernetes can run their workloads with Citrix ADCs. Work closely with Citrix ADC analytics team to add new cases tied to micro services Work closely with the Product Marketing team to promote Citrix next generation solutions through official channels – blogs, events, online demos Work closely with partners to integrate Citrix ADC solutions Keep track of competitive open source solutions and devise develop differentiation leveraging the broad Citrix networking portfolio that includes analytics, visibility and ADCs Contribute or write blogs, competitive notes, deployment guides, YAML files

Qualifications and Requirements:

Operational knowledge of cloud native technologies such as Kubernetes, valued added Kubernetes platforms such as OpenShift and cloud-based Kubernetes services such as EKS and GKE. Operational knowledge of CICD stacks Operational knowledge of open source tooling, preferably of Cloud Native Compute Foundation projects, API Gateway projects, API security projects, Istio, NGINX, HA Proxy Knowledge of API gateways and app security models using network isolation or app-to-app isolation Experience presenting to a wide range of audiences from developers and DevOps to business leaders Experience writing product requirements documents and driving them to product release Ideally, you have 5 years product management or related experience from technical support, sales engineering, technical product marketing, IT/operations or DevOps One or more years hands on experience in cloud native technologies (CNCF projects) Hold a BS Computer Science or related degree or technical experience
