The Payload Launch Sites Support Services \(PLSSS\) Program provides all launch processing support functions for Office of Space Launch \(OSL\)\. The program's two primary operating locations are Vandenberg AFB, CA and Cape Canaveral AFS, FL\. Key elements of the PLSSS program scope include satellite launch processing, satellite transport operations, satellite propellant loading operations, and satellite processing facilities O&M, clean room operations, and safety and environmental services\.

The applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information\.

This job is covered under the Service Contract Act \(SCA\) with an hourly wage no less than $16\.50 per hour\.

**Basic Qualifications:**

\-Actively enrolled in a Radio Frequency Engineering \(or equivalent\) degree program at an accredited university\.

\-This position requires special access to support the program and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen

\- Must be able to obtain a TS/SCI w/Poly Clearance\.

**Desired Skills:**

\-Experience in authoring technical documents either in either in a school or in a professional setting

\-Experience in a design build environment either in a school or in a professional setting

\-Able to work both independently and on interdisciplinary project teams

\-Experience in presenting technical designs and information either in a school or in a professional setting

\-Able to support multiple projects

\-Comfortable working in a secure environment

\-Able to adjust and respond to dynamic working environment

\-Must be willing/able to climb stairs and evacuate the launch complex wearing a breathing apparatus if required

\-Good organizational skills

\-Good written and oral communication skills
