**Responsibilities**

**Qualifications/Requirements**

Minimum 10 years of experience working in transactional entertainment law with at least 6 years of experience in scripted television business affairs in a studio environment

Juris Doctor (JD) required and active membership in the California State Bar preferred

**Desired Characteristics**

The ideal candidate will be a confident expert in global scripted original production television business matters that actively pursues creative business solutions to complex international matters - as well as:

Proven experience negotiating original scripted development and series related agreements with multiple stakeholders for broadcast and/or cable scripted programming

Excellent negotiating skills and a strong strategist who is able to present, develop and guide multi-territory negotiations through to closure

Strong knowledge of the SAG-AFTRA, WGA and DGA basic agreements, and familiarity with foreign production and guild and union requirements.

Detailed oriented and demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment.

Proven ability to make sound and fair business decisions.

Strong leader and persuasive communicator with a vision; proven ability to self-motivate, work independently as well as collaboratively

Superior organizational and communication skills, exceptional ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
