**Responsibilities**
**Qualifications/Requirements**
• Minimum 10 years of experience working in transactional entertainment law with at least 6 years of experience in scripted television business affairs in a studio environment
• Juris Doctor (JD) required and active membership in the California State Bar preferred
**Desired Characteristics**
The ideal candidate will be a confident expert in global scripted original production television business matters that actively pursues creative business solutions to complex international matters - as well as:
• Proven experience negotiating original scripted development and series related agreements with multiple stakeholders for broadcast and/or cable scripted programming
• Excellent negotiating skills and a strong strategist who is able to present, develop and guide multi-territory negotiations through to closure
• Strong knowledge of the SAG-AFTRA, WGA and DGA basic agreements, and familiarity with foreign production and guild and union requirements.
• Detailed oriented and demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment.
• Proven ability to make sound and fair business decisions.
• Strong leader and persuasive communicator with a vision; proven ability to self-motivate, work independently as well as collaboratively
• Superior organizational and communication skills, exceptional ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
