JOB TITLE: Warehouse Associate

Full Time Position - Must be available to work Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Primary Purpose:

Responsible for providing the day-to-day shipping, receiving, and general warehouse duties in a friendly, safe and efficient manner. Warehouse personnel must have a keen eye for safety and are detail oriented.

General Duties:

+ Performs daily shipping and receiving duties including packing and palletizing.

+ Prepares documentation for shipping and receiving of products and inventory.

+ Efficiently loads customer’s orders.

+ Communicates any damage to manager before accepting shipment.

+ Unpacks and examines incoming shipments and compares with purchase orders to verify accuracy of incoming shipments.

+ Receives and properly stores incoming shipments.

+ Maintains shipping records, including providing tracking or shipment history information upon request.

+ Safely and accurately cut carpet, vinyl, etc. for customer’s orders.

+ Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

+ High school diploma or GED equivalent required.

+ Forklift experience is preferred/ forklift certification a plus.

+ Excellent communication (verbally and written) with all levels of the organization and able to build effective relationships with others.

+ Highly motivated and high initiative in providing proactive efforts to resolve discrepancies with a high sense of urgency to meet deadlines.

+ Effective time management.

+ Strong organizational, multi-tasking and follow-through skills.

+ Able to perform challenging physical tasks during entire shift and lift up to 65 pounds on a regular basis.

Compensation:

+ $20 - $22 per hour depending on experience

+ Full time Hours

+ Medical/Dental/401k

+ Paid holidays/vacation
