Position: Guest Services Agent / Night Auditor

Reports To: Guest Service Manager

Rate: Dual wages: ($13/hr Guest Service Agent - $14/hr Night Audit) + bonuses + benefits

Summary: Under the general guidance of the Guest Service Manager, provide excellent service to guests throughout their stay. Make reservations, check guests in/out, answer all incoming calls and respond to any guests requests and solve issues quickly. Share information about hotel amenities and make recommendations about the surrounding area. This position would require 2 days per week as Night Audit, with the other 3 days being the evening PM shift.

Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent 18 years of age or older 1-year customer service experience Ability to stand for a long period of time Ability to communicate in English Computer literate

General Responsibilities:

As Guest Service Agent (PM Shift):

Greet all guests with a smile and a greeting. Make and confirm guest reservation via phone or walk in. Follow pre-arrivals procedures. Check-in and check-out of guests per company standards Provide courteous guest services by promptly responding to guest questions, complaints or requests Answer phone calls promptly before the third ring, and in a courteous manner using proper telephone Zenique's etiquette. Place maintenance work orders and repairs into ServicePRO system. Operate hotel PMS system (Property Management System) Operate front office equipment such as credit card machine, copier, fax, phone systems automated wake-up calls, etc. Follow all cash handling processes. Follow and enforce key control policy. Inform the General Manager and Front Office Manager of any unique situations, or unusual developments in front office operations. Perform other duties as needed and requested by management

As Night Audit:

Ensure proper completion of all front office and night audit duties. Direct and coordinate the activities of all overnight shift staff. Effectively, properly and accurately analyze the days operating results and perform daily assigned duties Conduct the Night Audit in accordance with the Zenique Hotels standards Operations Analysis & Reporting: Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable and direct billing End of day statistics Labor hours Daily Statistics entry into company Accounting software Front office room inspection reports Competition survey —Operations statistics report — labor cost/room, etc Ensure the proper appearance of the lobby and all public areas, including the complimentary breakfast area. Act as the Manager on Duty (MOD).
