**Job Description**
As a Pharmacy Technician I -Pharmacy Service Representative in the Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy, you will provide telephone support to patients receiving life sustainingspecialty drug therapy. The Pharmacy Technician I is essential to ensuring our patients receive the correct medication, as you directly affect the lives of others. The Pharmacy Technician Iposition is responsible for the overall coordination and processing of new patient medication orders and reorders, which includes verifying and re-verifying benefits. You will also help our patients with translating and entering in new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system, communicating and collecting copay amounts, obtaining authorizations, and working with insurance companies, healthcare providers and/or internal teams to screen, identify, resolve and defer orders that have accounts receivable or clinical issues. As part of the Specialty Mail Order team, you will play a crucial role in helping others on the path to better health and your work will be directly affect the lives of others.Additional responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician I -Pharmacy Service Representative(PSR)include: -Use your superb communication skills to contact doctor’s offices and insurance companies to ensure in the accuracy our patient's specialty medication orders-Translate prescriptions and utilize your sig code knowledge-Excellentdata entry skills will aid in your success-Processing of specialty medications in a timely manner-Ensure all financial and clinical expectations are being met prior to fulfillmentCPhT, PTCB, Pharmacy Technician, Mail Order, CVS, Mail, Specialty, Customer Service, Call Center, Pharmacy Service Representative

**Required Qualifications**
-Valid CA pharmacy technician license.
**Preferred Qualifications**
-Previous customer service experience
-Basic computer and typing skills
-Prior telephone experience
-Previous reimbursement experience, requesting prior authorizations and to include insurance verification.
-Ability to work in a fast paced environment
-National Pharmacy Technician Certification
**Education**
High School Diploma or GED required
