We are seeking an experienced Construction Manger for our Los Angeles District office located in Glendale, CA.
Responsibilities:
Oversees total construction project to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule Ensures all company, client ad project policies, procedures and standards are adhered to Interfaces with project team, client representative, architect representative and subcontractors throughout the project life cycle to deliver the project on time and on budget Assists in securing new work by participating as part of the core team and contributing to the estimate, proposal and presentation Ensures project safety standards and environmental program are adhered to at all times by conducting site inspections, leading by example, reviewing incidents, near misses and reviewing HSE reports and statistics Mentors, coaches, supervises and assesses performance of Project Managers and other project team members (i.e. Field Engineers, Construction Coordinators, Project Accountants, Administrative Assistants, etc) Monitors project performance, schedule, costs, equipment, manpower, materials, equipment maintenance, safety and environment, quality control and QUEST programs Creates and monitors project budget Negotiates claims/disputes with the owner and sub-trades in conjunction with the Senior Project Manager and Project Managers Oversees project closeout
