We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, Business Analysis for the Business Decision Support (BDS) department.
This individual will support the BDS team as an internal consultant in global business decisions within Warner Bros Home Entertainment. WBHE includes home video, digital distribution and games. The position specializes in providing strategic, financial and business planning expertise to facilitate executive decision making, including:
Drive key home entertainment initiatives (expand digital, windows, profit maximization). New businesses and opportunities (market-sizing and research, strategic rationale). New and existing deal analysis (terms of trade, contract review, negotiation support). Prepare analytical and business planning materials to support a wide-range of WBHE business activities (strategic and operational), often on confidential and time-sensitive topics (includes industry and company research, strategic analysis, detailed business modeling, sensitivity analysis, other considerations). Projects typically support: WBHE Strategic Initiatives: established by President WBHE, EVP Finance, GM TV, GM Film, and Business Development. WBHE Long Range Plan: assist FP&A with worldwide projections of new initiatives on complex revenue streams and related costs. Support BDS leadership in preparation and presentation to WBHE executive management. Assist in synthesizing information into a clear narrative that identifies issues, highlights opportunities and risks, and provides recommendations. Provide regular communication to all stakeholders regarding status, issues and open items, and offer suggestions for issue resolution. Exhibit curiosity and retention of industry practices, trends and new developments across the evolving content and distribution landscape.What do we require from you? BA/BS Accounting or Finance. MBA or CPA preferred. 3+ years in finance, accounting, consulting, or business development required. Media & Entertainment industry experience preferred. Ability to create dynamic and detailed financial models. Third-party data resource experience preferred (SNL Kagan, iHS, PwC, CapIQ, NPD). Project management experiences a plus. Proficiency in new versions of MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Organize and synthesize data in a clear and concise manner. Communicates effectively and tactfully with all levels of personnel (in person, email, phone). Professional demeanor - focused, mature, articulate, and well-organized. Dynamic team member with strong interest in collaboration across WB organization. Motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Handles multiple tasks under time constraints in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrates discretion in the management of confidential information.
