Warehouse Supervisor - Water Heater Man, Inc. (California)
Water Heater Man, Inc., is a growing service plumbing company in Orange. We have been serving our community since 1978. We offer medical insurance, paid holidays, paid vacations, paid sick days, profit sharing and several company sponsored events each year.
Responsibilities:
Maintain adequate inventory in warehouse to restock trucks
Maintain clean organized campus and work environment
Restock trucks as needed
Inventory trucks, cage, & warehouse as required
Supervise technicians in the warehouse or rear yard to insure productivity goals are met
Ensure scrap water heaters are hauled off in a timely manner to prevent rear yard clutter
Shop vendors for items necessary to maintain adequate inventory as well as special order items.
Insure fire extinguishers meet fire department and OSHA requirements
Insure fire sprinkler hydrant in front yard is operational
Other duties may be assigned to fulfill objectives
Obtain best pricing while maintaining a good relationship with vendors
Required:
An Associate’s degree and 3-5 years’ experience in a related field or a high school diploma and a combination of 5-7 years of college and experience are required.
The employee must be proficient in English and possess math skills proficient to calculate pallet quantities, and run data analysis.
Advanced Microsoft Office programs experience (Excel, Word, and Outlook) is required.
Preferred:
Accounting experience
