Summary
As part of a Field Capable Clinical Services (FCCS) multi-disciplinary team, the Clinician will conduct psychotherapy with adult members that have severe and persistent mental illness in the office, in member’s homes or the field. The Clinician’s primary responsibilities are to engage members and to coordinate mental and recovery services that will ensure housing stability and community integration. This position is responsible for maintaining the highest quality provision of direct individual and group therapeutic and case management services while fostering teamwork among staff and across departments and programs.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1.Provide, coordinate, and implement mental health and recovery support services with individual members
2.Conduct individual, family and group psychotherapy
3.Develop effective, trusting relationships with members, with a focus on facilitating independence and maintenance of improved physical and mental health
4.Collaborate with each member to develop their individual service plan; review and update it upon completion of goals
5.Assist management and other Clinicians with program evaluation and modification for future program improvements and growth
6.Assist members with becoming involved in daily activities, socialization, health maintenance, sense of community, and progress in recovery reflective of Lamp Community’s model which emphasizes customer choice, harm reduction, and psycho-social rehabilitation
7.Work cooperatively and cohesively with other members of the FCCS team, including participation in weekly staff meetings, group clinical supervision, and training
8.Develop and maintain a complete, accurate, and current member file with all funder-required documents

Qualifications

MSW with ASW registration or MFTi registration from Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) Experience working with homeless individuals, preferably those living with mental illness and/ or substance addictions Current, valid California Driver’s with an acceptable driving record and reliable vehicle Able to transport members in your vehicle Outstanding clinical and strong team-building skills Able to behave with sensitivity, tact, politeness, and responsiveness with staff and clients Detail oriented with excellent time management, organizational, written, verbal, interpersonal, presentation, and computer skills Bilingual English Spanish preferred
