EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT

The World Economic Forum Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (the "Center") in San Francisco is looking for an Executive Assistant. Under the direct supervision of a Member of the Forum's Managing Board who co-directs the Center, the Executive Assistant will deliver a range of administrative and coordination support in respect of scheduling, travel arrangements, monitoring and facilitation of internal and external requests, maintenance of smooth internal team communication, etc.

Duties and Responsibilities

Support senior leadership of the World Economic Forum Center on managing agenda of activities that span different offices and time zones, arranging complex and detailed itineraries and travel plans, crafting correspondence, preparing documents. Arrange travel logistics and accommodations, balancing manager's requirements for routing and schedules with considerations regarding cost-effectiveness and compliance with established policies. Though primarily focused (50%+) on supporting the Center's co-leader, this role also provides broader administrative support when needed to the new and rapidly growing Center, including for example with supporting project teams, covering for other administrative assistants, meeting preparation and logistics, reception of governmental and corporate visitors/delegations, etc.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's degree or equivalent Relevant experience assisting top-level executives and teams in an international working environment; Comfortable working in a challenging, dynamic, entrepreneurial and high-pressured environment; Ability to handle multiple priorities and schedule diaries across multiple time-zones with accuracy; Demonstrated outstanding interpersonal relationship skills coupled with exceptional verbal and written communication abilities; Highest degree of professionalism, judgment and confidentiality; Proficiency in the use of standard office software.
