Windsor Animal Hospital is a busy, multi-doctor, 7-day-per-week practice in Windsor looking to add a FULL-TIME EXPERIENCED Technician Assistant to our medical team. This practice has been long established (26 years), and our continued growth requires the addition of another Experienced Technician Assistant.

Excellent opportunity for a self-motivated person who is proficient, enjoys organizing the day, appreciates the importance of high standards for compassionate patient care, has excellent communication skills, and wants to be part of a passionate team.

Minimum Qualifications:

-2 years of experience

-Able to run anesthesia

-Able to do blood draws

-Able to take x-rays

Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Proper animal restraint

- Setting up and breaking down for procedures

- Assisting Doctors and RVTs

- Must be capable of lifting 35lbs, 50 lbs with assistance

- Autoclave and Ultrasonic cleaner training

- Wrap surgery and dental packs

- Organize inventory in treatment room

- Stocking inventory

- Cleaning instruments/exam tables/treatment room

- Assisting in rooms at Doctors request

- Rooming patients, obtaining weight and temperature

- Organize medications/ inventory

- Ordering special prescription requests for clients
