Orthodontic/Dental Sterilization Technician - Steven F Brizendine DDS, MS - Lodi, CA
Job Summary
A Sterile Tech position is open in our orthodontic office. We are seeking a team member who is trustworthy, hardworking, loyal, punctual, shows initiative, friendly, out-going and willing to always learn and do more than expected. You must be organized, have great interpersonal skills and who enjoys working with people.
This would be a great position for a beginning dental assistant.
Responsibilities and Duties
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Handling instruments, cleaning, sterilization and maintaining sterilization and lab areas, as well as stocking and inventory management, bringing patients back and seating, set-up, breakdown and clean work stations, pouring up and trimming models. Vacuuming as needed.
Our team works together to maintain a friendly, efficient, safe and clean practice. All duties are important and essential and we strive to make our patients our top priority.
Qualifications and Skills
Having orthodontic or dental experience is great, but not necessary if you are a quick learner and motivated, we can teach you these skills. It would really help if you have some experience in the medical-dental field.
You must be able-bodied, have endurance and strength as you will be constantly on your feet, moving quickly and lifting heavy items.
