Position Summary: We are currently looking for a Scheduling Analyst to be based out of our South Gate location. The Scheduling Analyst is responsible to ensure the accuracy of the MBH master schedule of projects, and plans the horizontal and vertical processes to ensure full integration across company functional groups. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, exercise teambuilding skills to convey order; will be exemplary in prioritizing and organizing teams to focus on project management that will include technical, production and financial deliverables; assist in overseeing staff planning processes for multiple business areas, locations, outsource vendors and functions, including analyzing both short and long term scheduling, capacity planning, and budget ownership.

Analyze and evaluate present or proposed initiatives and/or issues and develop insights to

Participate in a variety of business process reviews and/or testing of internal controls

Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of information being processes, stored, or accessed
Support and drive process improvements
Work with other groups to ensure compatibility between processes and/or systems

Conduct cost variance analysis of reported data to identify trends and mitigate potential
budget impacts
Monitor identified trends and mitigation plans over time against actual performance
Review, analysis and oversight of budget and expenditures against projects based upon
various funding sources
Participate in reoccurring meetings with Operations Team to review cost and schedule performance; determine cost overruns/ under runs, issues with project life cycle, or variances in spend analyzing plan versus expenditures over period of time
Review, analysis and oversight of monthly cost reports and monthly progress reports
Evaluate staffing plans, identify any excessive peaks and make recommendations for peak
leveling
Evaluate contract change orders and amendments for impact on budget/timetable
Review task order requests, change orders and amendments to ensure budget availability,
accurate cost coding and reporting
Ensure implementation of client policies, procedures and plans regarding cost management
of capital projects with multiple funding sources
Knowledge of theories, principles and practices of cost/schedule management, earned
value management, change management, forecasting, and risk assessment.
Ability to adapt to changing requirements and situations.

environment.
Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
