Account Manager - Level 1
Santa Fe Springs, CA
This position is responsible for providing daily contact with our customers where their primary job is to build the relationship through service, communication and product knowledge.
Education and/or Experience Qualifications:
Knowledge of such fields as accounting, marketing, business administration, finance, etc., or equivalent combination of education and experience. Equivalent of four years of high school, plus night, trade extension, or correspondence school, specialized training equal to two years of college. A college degree is preferred but not required. 1-2 years of inside sales experience required. Preference given to candidates with experience in the transportation industry.
Position Responsibilities:
Solicit new customers to grow the business. Communicate with Transportation Coordinators to ensure load coverage, service, available capacity and margin. Provide new solutions to customers via mode change or specialized services. Maintain existing customer relations for continued business opportunities.Benefits:
