Consolidated Electrical Distributors, Inc. (CED) is a large and growing wholesale electrical distribution company looking for qualified candidates for its Financial / Credit Manager Training Program.
Job Description:
Credit serves our profit centers and customers by managing the credit extension and collections process. The primary role of the credit manager is to protect the assets of the company by minimizing risks while maximizing sales and profitability. A CED credit manager has a strong aptitude to analyze risk and make financial decisions in the best interests of the company.
The candidate will work alongside an experienced credit manager to learn all aspects of financial management in the electrical wholesale industry. The duration of the training program is 2-3 years. The defined training program prepares the candidate to effectively administer CED's credit policy through proficiency in financial review, problem solving, construction lien laws, and negotiations.
Qualifications:
No prior experience is necessary. The candidate will have a strong desire to work in a sales and marketing environment. The candidate must be well-organized, an effective multi-tasker and have a Bachelor's degree. The candidate will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to share concepts and ideas with both internal and external customers. Relocation at the conclusion of training is mandatory to assume responsibility of managing one of CED's credit offices.
