Position/Title: Environmental Compliance Project Manager
Description: Looking for a self- motivated individual familiar with California and Federal Underground Storage Tank regulations to manage small compliance repairs and Testing Department projects for a face paced, expanding Installation, maintenance and Testing Contractor. Candidate must be familiar with Microsoft office products, knowledge of Microsoft Projects is a plus. The position will report directly to the Director of Testing and responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
Managing all aspects of compliance projects in California and other regions of North America including vendor procurement, permit applications/submissions, work oversight, client interface, close out documentation, CO generation and follow up, invoice oversight:
SB989 repair projects
Test failure repairs
CERS upload and management
Hazardous waste documentation management
Inspection program management
Veeder Root upgrades
AST/UST compliance upgrades
The successful candidate will have a minimum basic knowledge of:
Phase I/II EVR and air quality regulations
Federal UST regulations and 2018 requirements for testing/operator training
CUPA requirements for permitting underground tank repairs and operations
Aboveground Petroleum Storage Act
The successful candidate will work in a Team setting, within the Testing and Compliance Department at our office in Rancho Cucamonga CA. 3-5 years environmental project management or coordination is desired.
