Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices.

May lead the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget. May act as the team lead on projects, providing coaching, guidance and feedback to develop skills of team members. Effectively consults with management of customer organizations. Participates in business development activities. Develops and leads detailed solutions for moderately complex projects.
6-8 years of experience relevant to this position including 3-4 years consulting experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.

This is an individual contributor quantitative analyst role with responsibility for researching, developing and maintaining statistical models in R. Modelling requirements would encompass regulatory requirements for Treasury, Finance and Risk Management functions for financial services.

* Work independently and design, build and deliver robust statistical models
* Hands on experience in R Programming
* Deliver high quality documentation and presentations to support and maintain model and library use.
* Interact with Functional and Technical Consultants to ensure the successful model building and deployment.
* Travel on some projects will be 100%
* Participate in conceptualisation and building of statistical model in R language
* Developing and back testing
* Deployment and UAT
*Qualifications*
* Certification on R Programming
* Graduate or undergraduate level degree focused on Statistics
* Good understanding of statistical and econometric modelling techniques e.g. time series analysis, regression models and various estimation techniques.
* Preferred knowledge of the financial services industry
* Should have knowledge of Java / C ; should also have basic PL/SQL knowledge

* Minimum of 3 years of experience in statistical modelling
* Prior Implementation of R Modelling in Tier 1 international banks is a must.
* Experience in Model Validation and Back Testing
