Research Associate
Develop methodology to accelerate new product development or strengthen lab capability.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following laboratory work:
Develop methodology to accelerate new product development or strengthen lab capability
Support chemists and work with QC lab for sample analyses
Prepare chemical solutions and dilutions to precise specifications for experiments
Conduct chemical experiments, accurately documenting observations and results
Maintain inventory records of supplies and raw materials; prepare requisitions as needed
Maintain laboratory equipment and instruments
Participate in problem solving and troubleshooting
Practice lab hygiene and follow safety procedures and protocols
Safely manage chemical waste per regulatory standards
Maintain a safe work environment
Support metallization daily laboratory operations including running experiments, operating
analytical equipment, facility maintenance, chemical management, etc.
Develop methodology to accelerate new product development or strengthen lab capability.
Drive pilot facility operations, including but not limited to chemical blending and packaging,
managing raw materials inventory, chemical assay, etc.
Cross-functional supports to lab-to-manufacturing process including scale up related trouble
shooting for new product development
Lead capital works to reinforce lab capabilities.
Lab experiment including chemical preparation, coating and inspection
Lab equipment handling and maintenance
Lab RM and external inspection order
ExternalQualification
Qualification:
The research associate supports scientists to complete tasks associated with chemistry research experiments.
The research associate must have a minimum of three years of post-college hands-on wet chemistry laboratory experience.
Must be detail oriented, and willing to work in a scientific laboratory to conduct experiments.
The position requires accurate and efficient work in a dynamic and fast-paced working environment, with the ability to deliver results in a timely manner.
The research associate must possess strong skills for planning experiments, managing raw materials inventory, organizing test materials and safely disposing of chemical waste.
The research associate must have good communication skills, a high degree of self-motivation, and can work both independently with minimal supervision and as a team member.
The successful candidate should have a B.Sc. in Chemistry (preferred), Biology or Chemical Engineering, and significant work experience in chemical analysis laboratory
