The Marketing Solutions and Talent Media business have been growing rapidly over the past few years (+40% y/y for over 2 years). At the same time, customers struggle with the processes and systems related to operating on our platform. The Media Business Platform focuses on delivering a world-class platform to enable LinkedIn, partners, agencies, and customers to grow and operate at scale in a secure, compliant, and efficient way. (I. . , to make it easier for customers to do business with LinkedIn, and for LinkedIn to do business with customers!)

As LinkedIn Marketing Solutions scale to be a multi-billion dollar business, we need to enable our customers to derive best value from their investments into our platform. The Media Productivity initiative aims to increase customer productivity exponentially and also achieve a significant increase in productivity of our internal teams. This will be achieved through best in class data solutions and intuitive self serve patterns. We will need to collate and interpret a wide variety of data to derive meaningful recommendations to our customers and internal teams. This initiative will be stepping stone for a significant shift in our customer engagement to be self-driven and of incredible scale.

Responsibilities:

-You will own the front-end development for one or more of our products and collaborate with visual/interaction designers, other engineers, and product managers to launch new products, iterate on existing features, and build a world-class user experience.

-You will implement cutting-edge technologies and will be writing state-of-the-art code to keep LinkedIn at the cutting edge of current technology.

-Your specific expertise will be required to make the site delightful, secure, performant and accessible to all our members.

-You will meet with colleagues including product managers, designers and other engineers assigned to your project(s).

Basic Qualifications: (Please do not update)

-BS (or higher, e. . , MS, or PhD) in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding (e. . , physics or mathematics), or equivalent technical experience.

-2+ years of industry experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

-5+ years of relevant work experience.

-MS or PhD in Computer Science or related technical discipline.

-Experience writing clean JavaScript including experience with modern frameworks (Angular/Ember/React) and debugging tools (Chrome Dev Tools, etc. )

-Knowledge of (and a passion for) current trends and best practices in front-end architecture, including performance, accessibility, security and usability.

-Prior experience building public API's with Java.

-Experience building large-scale consumer facing products.
