*This position may be hired at either the Test Automation Eng Advisor or Test Automation Eng Sr Advisor level based on candidate skills and experience*

Responsible for development and oversight of enterprise test automation strategies and functions ensuring the highest quality delivery of systems including; test strategy framework, technical test leadership, standardized test architecture, and associated methodologies and process architecture, test planning for strategic/complex initiatives, test automation strategy, end to end test strategy, and test environment strategy requirements.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

+ Plays a leadership role in the design, development, and implementation of automation components.

+ Establishes automation tools, frameworks and methodology.

+ Mentors staff in testing automation processes.

+ Establishes current automation architectures as business and technical conditions change.

+ Supervises the use of appropriate automation methods to employ to assure developed product conforms to requirements and design.

+ Facilitates review of applications for automation needs and requirements/design quality.

+ Provides consultation to projects and application support groups regarding automation design, development and execution.

+ Understands organizational impacts and trade-offs of automation processes.

+ Plays a leadership role in managing resources from alternate development centers.

+ Incremental release delivery: The QA Lead is responsible to coordinate across teams to understand the functionality to be built and delivered within a release, collaborate with the architecture, UX team, business sponsors and owners to propose and drive execution for the regression and delivery test plan.

+ Defect management: The QA Lead is working across teams and with business stakeholders to manage and coordinate the backlog of defects according with the established SLAs

+ Continuous improvement: Collects and analyzes quality data, performs audits across the various IT functions to ensure quality standards, procedures and methodologies are being followed and is proposing correcting measures

+ Jira , QTest, SonarQube, Junit, TestNG, Cucumber, Jenkins

Qualifications

Qualifications - External

+ Requires BA/BS in Computer Science or Information Systems; 7+ years of testing automation experience (5+ for the Advisor level); or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

+ Quality certification such as CMQ, CQA, CQPA, CQT, CSQE, or CSSBB required within one year of job placement in automation and prior to moving to next level.

+ Evidence of driving quality for an end to end technology product

+ Has development experience (started career in software development), understands and knows current Java and mobile technologies/frameworks and engines

+ Has experience with iOS and Android mobile development

+ Has strong experience in test driven development and continuous integration/deployment

+ Browser Stack, Selenium Web Driver, Appium, Soap UI, Protractor, Postman

+ Neoload, Gatling, JMeter, Load Runner, Solarwind, AppDynamics
