Position Overview:

Job Title: Shift Lead Work Location: 1652 Bonanza St., Walnut Creek, CA 94596 Immediate Supervisor: Assistant General Manager/General Manager Supervises: Team Members, Team Leaders Working Hours: 15-40 hours (Full-Time with opportunity for overtime available for experienced candidates) Growth Opportunity: Opportunity for Management training for the right candidates Compensation: Competitive pay with raises as you advance through training

Position Requirements:

Strong team and shift leadership skills. Must have strong customer service skills. Outgoing, friendly personality. Fast and efficient work style. Passionate about quality coffee & tea. Fast learner and excellent comprehension and communication skills Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to cross-collaborate with your team. Interest in acting as a brand ambassador for Sweetwaters and promoting the brand. Prior cafe experience. Bachelor's degree or higher (or currently pursuing) with excellent academic performance highly desirable.

Position Objectives:

Manage the Team, systems, and quality on each shift to deliver excellent service, products, and atmosphere to every guest. As a part of a cohesive Sweetwaters Team, Shift Leads are responsible for maintaining Total Store Vision. The Sweetwaters' store environment ranges from very slow to fast-paced. Therefore, it is necessary to prioritize tasks according to guest traffic and adjust pace accordingly. The Shift Lead manages each of the following areas and is able to function in any of the Team shift roles.
