We are searching for an Inventory Control Clerk for our Power Distribution – Anaheim location.
Reporting to the Supervisor & Master Logistics Planner, the Inventory Control Clerk performs simple to complex manual, clerical and computer data entry duties in the stockroom areas such as receiving, storing and disbursement of materials and helps maintain a good and accurate inventory. The position requires a blend of skills and experience that are specifically focused on the inventory management of several hundreds of items within two facilities. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels by ensuring inventory management and order fulfillment responsibilities are completed in a timely fashion and with the highest standard of service.
Responsibilities:
Perform data entry on computer (ERP system terminal) Maintain accurate receiving and issued parts records Follow proper processes and procedures to ensure inventory is accurate, corrections are made in a timely manner and issues are escalated appropriately Perform cycle counts. Conduct investigations relative to short/over product quantities. (Perform root cause analysis to maintain inventory integrity. Pull kits and issue backorders Count, sort, or weigh incoming items and verify the receipt of incoming items Accept materials from receiving inspection and check against paperwork validating quantity, part number and description and/or arrange for storing of received material in a neat and orderly arrangement onto shelves, racks or specified floor locations Store articles in bins, racks, or shelves according to identifying part number Fill orders or issue supplies from stock Adjust inventory counts and the damage to stock Perform inventory adjustments to items carried in stock Determine the identification and stock location Assist in transporting material from stockroom to production departments Maintain computerized inventory records and document all discrepancies and help with complex part researchQualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
Five (5) years experience in inventory control/stockroom function related to the movement of inventory (receiving, storing and arranging, issuing and kitting of material); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Requires ability to read, write and interpret (MRP system) computer documents.
Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
