POSITION OVERVIEW:

ProTrain is currently recruiting for an experienced in-classroom instructor with experience teaching a Scribe Course.

Candidates must have experience teaching in a classroom or/and in a synchronous environment, as well as have a minimum of 3 years in Scribe.

This is a part time; contracted teaching position to begin Fall 2018. Future classes will be available to the right candidate.

Course Location: Live Sync

Course Day/Time: Evenings

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

In-classroom (or online/synchronous) instructor Topics covered: Scribe Overview Chart Elements and Guidelines for Reimbursement HIPAA for AHP Scribes CMS Core Measures Translating Patient Speak into Medical Language Fundamentals of the Chief Complaint Fundamentals of the HPI Fundamentals of the Review of Systems Fundamentals of the Past Medical/Social/Family Histories Fundamentals of the Physical Exam Fundamentals of Medical Decision Making Critical Care Scribe Documentation (ER) Medication Review Procedures Lab and Diagnostic Studies Review EHR for AHP Scribes Charting Practice using “Practice Fusion” Audio Case Studies Scribe Exam Prep

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum 3-5 years teaching experience Teaching certification preferred Minimum 3 years in related field of study Must adhere to weekly class schedule
