**_Job Responsibilities_**
We seek a seasoned trainer with a background in software engineering or IT operations to help grow our internal knowledge and training program, including:
+ Delivering and/or facilitating training in classroom settings
+ Gathering internal knowledge and training requirements for both technical and role-based topics
+ Creating and iterating training content intended for delivery in classroom, web-based and blended learning environments
+ Contributing to strategy for scale and logistics
+ Assisting in the management of technical infrastructure needed to support training delivery
+ Driving course delivery quality and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement
**_Qualifications_**
+ 5 years experience working in a training program within a high-growth, customer-focused global enterprise
+ 5 years working in either a software engineering or IT operations environment
+ Demonstrated success in a startup environment where you are required to think quickly, make sound decisions, and adapt to changing priorities
+ Strong team player with outstanding communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
+ Moderate understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts and technologies
+ Demonstrated knowledge of leading-edge training platforms, technologies, and content creation tools
+ Exceptional written, presentation, and facilitation skills
+ Experience working within an established technical content strategy, and adhering to content quality governance
+ A history of fearless hands-on product use and an uncompromising customer advocate mentality
+ Experience working with geographically distributed teams
**Detailed Description and Job Requirements**
Develops courseware to support new and existing products, often though not exclusively in conjunction with Product Division.
Coordinate and evaluate development contributions from other courseware development team members. Develop certification questions for use in the Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) exams. Solicit & incorporate feedback from reviews and training events. Deliver training at train-the-trainer and pilot events.
Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. May have project lead role. Bachelor
* s Degree in Computer Science or Instructional Design. Four years adult education experience (as teacher or curriculum developer). Seven years technical or professional experience using Oracle products or related software. Strong SQL and PL/SQL knowledge and experience. Knowledge of XML, Java, and J2EE technologies. Experience with Oracle9i Database administration. Knowledge of Oracle9i Application server.
