The Manager, Financial Services (MFS) is responsible for the recruitment, selection, development, retention, success, and supervision of new and experienced financial professionals. The MFS is the immediate supervisor for the organization's approach to a relationship based, life cycle, sales and advice process in selling insurance and financial products. Key aspects of this approach include:

Train and coach new financial professionals and FPAs.

Coach and counsel financial professionals to maximize their potential in the areas of productivity and culture contributions.

Create a collaborative environment that delivers a world class client experience.

Leverage intellectual properties of the firm to maximize the probability of success.

Achieve recruiting and retention goals

Recruiting and Retention

An effective MFS strengthens the firm’s position through recruitment and retention of new and experienced financial professionals.

Identify and hire individuals reflective of both the FPA and true Experienced financial professional profiles

Identify and develop relationships with key nominator resources.

Participate in candidate selection appropriate to both IXP and EXP candidates

Demonstrate competency in the Prudential Advisors recruiting process while adhering to candidate selection guidelines.

Meet recruiting diversity objectives.

Performance Management

An effective MFS strengthens the firm’s performance through development of financial professionals and FPAs including:

Coach and counsel financial professionals to maximize their potential in the areas of productivity and culture contributions.

Collaborate actively with firm and territorial resources in order to support the success of financial professionals.

Inspire financial professionals to be personally accountable for their desired outcomes.

Business Ethics & Industry Compliance Awareness

Excellent time management /organizational skills

Proven coaching and development skills

Series 6 & 26 registrations, Life/Health insurance license & P&C License

Variable license where required

Strong leadership skills (5-10 years)

Proven recruiting and retention skills and experience. Working with experienced financial professionals is preferred.

Autonomy (ability to work independently)

Proven sales influence and persuasion

Satisfaction and pride in working hard; setting high personal standards for performance
