Regional Medical Center of San Jose is a 264 bed acute care hospital with a Level II Trauma Center. The hospital provides a host of technologically advanced services including Cardiovascular, Neuro, Orthopedic, Bariatric and General Surgery, Interventional Pulmonology and services for Women.Regional holds Joint Commission advanced certification as a Comprehensive Stroke Center and a Get with the Guidelines- Stroke Gold Plus Performance Achievement Award from the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association. SCHEDULE: 1.0 FTE (40 hours per week)
SHIFT: Nights with rotating weekends.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Director of Radiology, supervisor and the Radiologist, performs all radiography procedures in adherence to the established policies and procedures and state guidelines using best practices.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum: Current ARRT, Current CRT, Current CA Fluoroscopy license, Current BCLS
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum: Must have one year of experience. Must have appropriate knowledge of growth and development in order to provide care for the patient population within the scope of service for that department/unit.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum: Certificate from an Accredited Radiologic Technology Program

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
Minimum: Demonstrate technical proficiency, Ability to operate radiological equipment, patient observation and knowledgeable of Title 17, Strong communications skills, and basic computer skills. Able to prioritize work flow and multi task in a fast paced environment.
