ABOUT THE POSITION

As Facilities Supervisor you will oversee team members and operations within our facilities organization. This includes managing internal/external facility maintenance, janitorial staff, building technician, shipping/receiving team, security contractors, planning routine maintenance, scheduling service contractors, and ensuring that facilities are maintained to code, space planning and design for prAna main corporate offices.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

+ Supervise and provide direction to all Facilities employees plus additional seasonal and/or temporary employees in area of responsibility

+ Establish workload priorities and provides clear, daily objectives for the area team

+ Create and maintain a high performing, productive work environment in alignment with prAna’s company culture and values; fosters high morale

+ Supervise building maintenance for corporate facilities (both prAna and employee store structure) by supervising employees and ensuring standards are established and met

+ Negotiate outside contracts and ensuring work meets contract specifications for outside contractors for facilities and grounds maintenance

+ Perform routine minor maintenance and repairs as needed

+ Supervise, maintain and monitor Access Control Security System. Program the system to accommodate changes and additions. Train security personal to use and monitor the system

+ Lead the prAna Safety Committee in collaboration with prAna Sr. HR Generalist

+ Protect well-being and safety of employees and direct team members through training in safe work practices; confirm safe work practices are being followed

+ Work with prAna management to plan effective and efficient use of space based on organizational structure and corporate goals. Incorporate growth needs into department space plan

YOU HAVE

+ A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Interior Design, or other related experience/education preferred

+ A minimum of 3 years experience to include facilities management

+ A minimum 1 year managing department and staff

+ Space planning or interior design experience. Thorough knowledge of practices, principles, procedures, regulations, and techniques related to space planning and systems furniture.

+ HVAC, security, and building management systems experience

+ Experience selecting and managing vendors including basic service contracting. Working knowledge of fire codes, building codes, and OSHA regulations for the office environment

+ Knowledge of ergonomics as applied to the office workplace
