Payroll Coordinator - Shimmick Construction Company (California)
Shimmick is seeking a highly talented Payroll Coordinator II based out of Oakland, CA. This challenging position will provide an excellent growth opportunity while improving the infrastructure of the city.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
+ Ensures all internal controls are adhered to in the performance of specific job duties.
+ May transmit payroll to ADP.
+ Manages the operations and control of the payroll department.
+ May reconcile payroll bank account for rejected, void or stop payments.
+ Reviews legislative notifications and advises management of appropriate resolution.
+ Performs other payroll associated responsibilities to cover business needs.
+ Prepares reports on department’s service levels.
Minimum Requirements:
+ High School Diploma/GED + 2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience with processing payroll
+ Familiar with Union payroll
