The Data Process Engineer II will focus on data analysis and trending applied to complex data sets from disperse production processes and equipment. The role leverages a keen understanding of manufacturing and data analytics to recommend process changes, alterations to measurement methods, and design adjustments to improve product manufacturability and reliability. You will use design understanding, advanced metrology system knowledge, and design of experiment skills, to drive impactful process and design improvements. This position will work closely with members of the Quality, R&D, and Production teams to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
What you will be responsible for:
+ Use strategic skills to leverage in-process data to propose meaningful changes.
+ Understand the fundamentals of measurement techniques to contribute to the development of the right measurement requirement scheme for in-process and final test measurement efforts.
+ Troubleshoot production line issues related to yield, quality and throughput.
+ Analyze process test results, issue reports and make technical recommendations.
+ Review and evaluate software for data monitoring, trending and tracking.
+ Author and review technical documentation in support of manufacturing (SOP, MFG, PSP, PPRA CAPAs, PSPs, Validations).
+ Analyze manufacturing data and support troubleshooting and conduct routine process monitoring.
+ Work cross functionally with R&D, Manufacturing and Quality to develop processes to improve processes of existing products.
+ Present main data analysis findings to cross functional teams.
+ Respond to problems with a sense of urgency.
What you bring to the role:
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering or Related Field, required.
+ Minimum of one year’ experience in Data analysis, Production Support, Metrology or similar field.
+ Experience with multivariate analysis, required.
+ Experience in GMP environment, required.
+ Experience troubleshooting by leveraging data from Metrology equipment, required.
+ Experience with high level problem solving and reasoning skills.
+ Experience developing reports to analyze data trends and propose meaningful conclusions, required.
+ Ability to communicate advanced product knowledge, required.
+ Design of experiment leadership experience, required.
+ Advanced Metrology programming and data analysis on at least one of the following, preferred: Nikon, Cyberscan, Bruker
+ Project management experience, preferred.
Information Technology
+ JMP Statistical Software Knowledge, required.
+ VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) and Macro Development Knowledge, preferred.
+ High level programming (R, Python or C++) Knowledge, preferred.
+ Knowledge of machine learning techniques, preferred.
