Financial Planning and Analysis Manager - Pet Food Express (California)
Pet Food Express is seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager. As the FP&A Manager, your mission is to establish Pet Food Express’ Financial Planning and Analysis function. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will closely collaborate with stakeholders across the organization including Merchandising, Planning, Marketing, Stores and Technology. You will establish core processes such as annual planning cycle including budgeting and forecasting. You must be intellectually curious, detail-oriented, and able to identify solutions to complex problems (frequently with limited or incomplete data), then roll-up your sleeves to drive implementation and track your work's impact.
What you’ll do
+ Build, own, and oversee the Financial Planning and Analysis team
+ Lead beyond budgeting and planning - be a thought leader and partner with leadership to drive strategic initiatives
+ Develop and implement a monthly and annual financial planning process
+ Own and drive forecasting, reporting and business reviews with each department
+ Create detailed financial models that track and analyze functional costs and their impact on overall performance
+ Design and own the operating model to prepare, plan, and forecast cash needs
+ Provide strategic insight and recommendations to the business on its financial performance, focusing on KPIs, trends, and analytics to help meet PFE’s long-term growth plans
+ Prepare financial slides for senior leadership to keep them informed on business performance
What you’ll need
+ 4-6 years of FP&A experience
+ Strong ability to turn data into actionable insights and influence decision-making by senior leadership
+ An ability to function both independently and in a team environment and communicate effectively with key stakeholders; including senior management
+ Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills
+ Expert Excel skills, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite
