Boeing Defense, Space & Security** **(BDS)** is seeking **Experienced Product Review Engineers** in **El Segundo, CA** to support **Boeing Space & Launch.

A **Product Review Engineer** Applies knowledge of Boeing design principles to assess and resolve product/process issues through the product lifecycle. Analyzes, conducts root cause analysis and develops dispositions for design non-conformances. Identifies, documents and communicates deviations that could impact design intent and safety. Develops and implements product/process improvements. Provides comprehensive build knowledge of the end product to ensure producibility. Represents the engineering community in the post production environment. Develops and implements technical training.

**Position Responsibilities** :

+ Develops and implements production and tooling methodologies.

+ Participates on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines.

+ Develops, identifies and implements conceptual designs and maintains the program architecture for build.

+ Leads and implements manufacturing plans.

+ Conducts producibility and variation analyses to ensure that manufacturing process capability matches requirements.

+ Assists in providing producibility information for inclusion in project plans and helps document producibility best practices.

+ Analyzes design/build concepts to evaluate producible design/build definitions.

+ Resolves technical problems of significant impact to performance, cost or schedule.

+ Coordinates and implements new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and concepts.

+ Validates and ensures production readiness of solutions to complex problems. Implements lean principles and technologies

**This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.** An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required** **Skill/Experience):

+ Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry

+ 3+ years of experience in Product Review Engineering

+ 1+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment

+ Experience with LEAN principles

+ Experience using Microsoft Office products

+ Material Review Board (MRB) Certification

+ 1+ years of experience CAD/Model Based Software experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

+ Experience with Root Cause Analysis, problem solving and improvement projects.

+ Ability to collaborate with both the engineering workforce and mechanics on the factory floor.

+ 1+ years of analysis/stress engineering

+ Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) ie: "HMS CAPP", "SAP"

Typical** **Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
