Outbound Coordinator - Days - Lowe's (California)
What You Will Do
The FDC Outbound Coordinator is primarily responsible for efficiently and effectively managing outbound shipments from the flatbed distribution center (FDC). This includes organizing and setting up the daily outbound trailer work queue for the shipping team based on corporate requests and store demand. This role ensures all products are accurately loaded on the correct outbound trailers and that priority products are dispatched to the appropriate stores on time and within required standards.
_Travel Requirements: This role does not require regular travel._

+ Required to work a set schedule that may be changed/modified by management based on the needs of the facility.
+ Requires availability to work morning, afternoon, nights, or weekends depending upon assigned shift and overtime based on the needs of the facility.
+ Must work in a distribution/warehouse environment with the physical and environmental aspects typically associated with such environment.
+ Minimally must be able to lift up 25 pounds with reasonable accommodation.
+ Capable of operating powered equipment (e.g., forklift, center rider) with reasonable accommodation.
What You Need to Succeed
_Minimum Qualifications_
+ High school diploma or GED equivalent
+ Strong safety orientation and proven record of complying with safety requirements
+ Ability to work independently with limited supervision
_Preferred Qualifications_
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field
+ Experience working in distribution center operations and traffic control
+ Experience using troubleshooting processes to resolve problems
+ Experience working in a customer-facing role
+ Basic computer skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
+ Experience with software applications such as Excel, Access or Lowe’s warehouse management system
+ Experience operating power equipment (e.g., forklift, reach truck, yard truck)
+ Experience using spatial reasoning to position product effectively
