Summary:
The Business Engineering and Partner Solutions team (BEPS) provides businesses with the solutions they need to grow today and build for tomorrow. Depending on a business’ needs, BEPS will connect them with in-house engineers, recommend the right partners, or develop a customized combination of both. By integrating technology and partnerships in one team, BEPS can employ the right solution, empowering businesses to face the tasks of today and engineer a path to the future. The Measurement Partner Management team within BEPS accelerates business success across the Facebook Family of Apps through the enablement, oversight and evolution of our partnerships with third-party measurement companies, to help provide an independent and comparable view of advertising effectiveness with other digital platforms and other media. We are looking for a Partner Manager to join our team and oversee a range of priority partners based in the US, defining and optimizing our strategies to ensure they are all driving global value for advertisers and we are evolving our collaboration in the most impactful areas. The person will work collaboratively with the partners themselves as well as a range of internal stakeholders, particularly fellow Partner Managers in the US and other regions to ensure we are employing a consistent approach and sharing best practices, Measurement Program Managers, Business Development, Legal and Marketing Science. The ideal candidate has a strong interest in and understanding of advertising measurement and where this is heading over the coming years, meaningful experience collaborating with the third party measurement partner ecosystem, and a deep understanding of how to drive value from measurement services. They will be a problem solver, able to build internal and external relationships to influence and drive mutually beneficial opportunities and feed those into a clear strategy for success.
Required Skills:
1. Primary point of contact for a range of measurement partners based in the US, responsible for strategy definition, execution and iteration.
2. Enablement, ongoing management and evolution of our partner engagements, in line with our overarching third-party measurement strategy.
3. Assess and work with cross-functional colleagues to surface and prioritise new partnership opportunities to address market demand.
4. Act as the representative of Measurement Partnerships with internal stakeholders in the US, maintaining a strong feedback loop to ensure transparency into our strategy and progress, and detailed feedback on advertiser asks of current and prospective partners.
5. Engage with Partner Management colleagues to share best practices and understand where there are areas of possible collaboration/innovation that should feed into our broader partner strategy as we look to enable effective measurement for advertisers going forward.
6. Work with Business Development colleagues to put in place contractual frameworks that enable our partner ambitions.
Minimum Qualifications:
7. 8+ years of experience in measurement, digital technology, advertising technology, or equivalent, in partner/account management roles or as a client
8. Experience overseeing measurement approaches from concept to completion
9. Demonstrated experience in clarifying and communicating complex measurement concepts such as methodological approaches
10. Scrappy, resourceful, action and detail-oriented, with a high ownership experience delivering measurable impact
11. Experience gathering and analyzing data, research and market analysis, translating this information into requirements to develop a long term strategy
12. Demonstrated experience executing in a fast-paced environment with several internal cross functional teams and external stakeholders at all levels
13. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
14. Experience working with third-party measurement companies in the brand safety, viewability or cross-media reach areas
15. Experience working with, or at, third-party measurement companies
