Lead Medical Training Specialist - General Dynamics Information Technology (California)

The Lead Training Specialist provides training and technical assistance to a federally funded network of care providers. As the Medical lead, the Specialist leads training in their specialty, prepares and/or conducts training programs, and delivers training programs to train all levels of personnel, including case managers, clinicians, and other staff.

This position is remote and requires frequent travel within the United States.

Duties include:

+ Develops tests and visual aids, conducts training classes, and help develop criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities.

+ Contributes to completion of targeted training programs and projects

+ Provides training and technical assistance

+ Support the development and design of training material

+ Oversees the delivery of on-site and/or virtual training classes in their specialty area

+ Maintains current knowledge of policies and procedures applicable to the operations of the care provider network

Requirements

+ Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Nursing, Social Sciences or a related field or with at least 5 years of experience

+ Master’s degree in the abovementioned fields preferred

+ Experience providing training or technical assistance to different audiences

+ Understanding of different learning styles and ability to adapt delivery/training style as needed

+ Experience providing medical services or medical coordination services at a care provider or a child welfare residential program

+ Strong command of medical services requirements

+ Strong understanding of pediatric medical issues

+ Bilingual English/Spanish a plus

+ Excellent communication skills

+ Must be able to travel within the United States

+ This position requires a Background Check
