Behavioral Health/EAP Consultant I or II Please Note: This position may be filled at either the Behavioral Health/EAP Consultant I or Behavioral Health/EAP Consultant II level. The manager will determine the level based upon the selected applicant’s skillset relative to the qualifications listed for this position. Location: This position will allow you to work at any Anthem office or remotely (Must live within one hour of an Anthem office) Hours: Monday-Friday 5:30 am-6 pm Mountain Time. Multiple positions open and shifts will be between these work hours Mountain Time.
Responsible for providing 24/7 Behavioral Health and Employee Assistance services to up to approximately 14 million lives. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: • Supports Employee Assistance Program (EAP) service department by responding to initial customer contacts and requests for services; receives a client request, assesses the situation, determines an appropriate course of action. • Provides telephone crisis intervention, assessment, short-term problem resolution, and referral to appropriate provider(s). • Manages Critical Incident Stress Debriefing requests. • Assesses members and assists them in accessing behavioral healthcare benefits available under their health plan.
Qualifications
Behavioral Health/EAP Consultant I • 3 years of direct psychiatric and/or substance abuse experience is required or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. • Current unrestricted license such as (but not limited to) LPC LMSW (as allowed by applicable state laws), LCSW, or LMHC, LMFT, in applicable state(s) required. • Masters degree in a related field is required. • Bilingual preferred. Behavioral Health/EAP Consultant II • 5 years of direct psychiatric and/or substance abuse experience required or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. • Current unrestricted license such as (but not limited to) LPC LMSW (as allowed by applicable state laws), LCSW, or LMHC, LMFT, in applicable state(s) required. • Masters degree in a related field is required. • Bilingual preferred. Preferred for both levels: Understanding of college student mental health and wellness needs is preferred Knowledge, skill, and experience specifically focused on the needs of college students on a university campus is preferred
Applicable to Colorado Applicants Only Annual Salary Range*: $59,750 - $74,690 Actual compensation may vary from posting based on geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill level. * The salary range is the range Anthem in good faith believes is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
