As a Gallo Account Manager you would be responsible for conducting wine and spirits category updates (resets) within Chain Retail Stores.
What you'll do :
In this position you will work with store personnel to build working relationships in order to help successfully complete all reset tasks and responsibilities. This position will help lead a team of external hourly employees and guide tem on a day-to-day basis in order to complete resets in a timely manner. This position communicates all store specific information to management in a timely manner. They will also attend meetings on a regular basis for the purpose of updating chematics, discuss current merchandising trends and specific planning objectives. This position requires flexibility with their schedule, start times can be 4am-8am and can shift to 10pm based on customer need.
Who we are looking for :
Minimum Qualifications
• High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 9 months of successful experience as a merchandiser or field sales representative.
• Required to lift and move 45 – 57 pound cases of product.
• Required to work different shifts based on business need.
• Required to travel throughout Central/Southern California with up to 25% with overnight hotel stays based on business need.
• Required to be physically capable of executing all essential functions to perform the job.
• Candidates for this position must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record. Required to obtain a California driver’s license or appropriate state driver’s license within 30 days of hire.
• Required to have a car or personal transportation to access multi-store locations within assigned area.
• Required to be at least 21 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree.
• Leadership aptitude or skill.
• Good communication skills; sticks to point.
• Good problem solving and decision making skills.
• Good time management skills.
• Good organization skills.
• Demonstrated teamwork experience.
