VP, Digital Product Partner Experience -CareCredit - Synchrony (California)

Job Description:

Role Summary/Purpose

As part of the CareCredit Product Management & Experience team, this role will focus on driving value (and sales) through commercialization strategies for our larger clients and software partners. This will include developing structures for optimizing the subset/offering of our expanding broad financial products to new and existing customers.

The role will focus on aligning our channels, technologies and capabilities to our technology partners, practice management platforms and custom integration clients. This role will develop robust user journeys and experience maps to recommended credit, payment strategies and experiences that align with exceptional application and transaction experiences for healthcare providers and patients.

The ideal candidate must communicate business goals and objectives with our partner needs while leveraging analytics to prioritize functionality and enhancements. Key responsibilities include product requirements definition, project management, commercialization initiatives and cross platform prioritization.

Essential Responsibilities

+ Identify how our products and capabilities align to client needs and define the strategy to better integrate our tools into partner systems in a scalable fashion

+ Equip our sales and integrations teams with the narrative needed to drive more productive conversations with clients and proactively build and enhance our capabilities

+ Provide expertise and direction on business development proposals and integration opportunities to ensure the right product capabilities and roadmaps are presented

+ Collaborate with strategic initiatives team to identify new technology partnerships that can expedite digital products speed to market

+ Work with internal stakeholders to define business and technical requirements for impacted consumer and/or provider channels, collection and incorporation of feedback into the development teams will be critical

+ Demonstrated thought leadership – coupled with strong communication skills and ability to help teams connect the dots on new ideas, processes and strategy

+ Interface with cross-functional departments including marketing, sales, compliance, training, IT and analytics to define key performance indicators and support digital and business objectives

+ Coordinate with sales, marketing, training and call center teams to commercialize products

+ Leverage internal expertise to monitor consumer needs and pain points; utilize analytics tools to quantify and prioritize opportunities

+ Work with UX teams to prototype and test concepts

+ Report out on product impact, troubleshoot issues and build future product iterations

+ Provide cross-functional and cross-platform support of critical business initiatives

+ Partner with COEs and other cross-functional leaders within Synchrony on new and existing initiatives

+ Support pre-release and post production user acceptance testing for consumer digital products

+ Establish and manage relevant digital reporting and metrics

+ Perform other duties or special assignments as needed

Qualifications/Requirements

+ Bachelor's degree OR in lieu of degree, a high school diploma and 7 years of marketing experience in a credit card or financial services organization plus:

+ 5 years of experience in Digital Product Management to include:

+ Experience in credit card or financial services marketing experience, or healthcare financing

+ Certification and/or training in UX best practices and principles

+ Project management experience, working across cross functional teams and projects

+ Demonstrated completions of significant cross business/function projects

+ Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

+ Ability to travel as needed

Desired Characteristics

+ Deep domain knowledge and experience with CareCredit business, products and strategic growth initiatives

+ Ability to quickly synthesize complex ecosystems and process map user flows

+ Training in scaled agile framework (SAFe) and/or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification

+ Demonstrated project and product management skills with strong attention to detail

+ Understand consumer and digital marketing trends and consumer purchase cycles

+ High energy, self-starter with an emphasis on action

+ External presentation and sales experience, specifically in relation to software

+ Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects with little supervision

+ Tech savvy with familiarity and experience working with agile development teams, processes and tools

+ Experience marketing financial services products via digital channels

+ Able to simplify complex issues to drive consensus among stakeholders

Strong computer skills in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Design experience a plus

Eligibility Requirements:

+ You must be 18 years or older

+ You must have a high school diploma or equivalent

+ You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process

+ You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

+ New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 24 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must have at least a “consistently meets expectations” performance rating and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance requirement).

The salary range for this position is **85,000.00 - 170,000.00** USD Annual

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA and Metro NY and some positions are bonus eligible.
