KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Tax Proposal Operations to join our Tax organization.
Responsibilities:
+ Provides guidance on proposal strategy, writing, design and orals coaching support and how to request assistance
+ Leads initial discussion with team on value proposition to be covered in proposal documents and at oral presentations including key win themes and differentiators
+ Works with writer and team to draft new proposal content, and reviews and edits proposal drafts
+ Collaborates with the Lead PC as well as respective service line/practice leadership to create/maintain/update proposal templates on a continuous basis (working with the appropriate subject matter professionals)
+ Monitors the various processes and resources to identify issues, improvements and enhancements that should be considered and discuss these with the Lead PC and KL as relevant
+ Oversees and implements training and sharing of knowledge around the tax proposal process and the resources and tools available to engagement teams
Qualifications:
+ Minimum five years of recent proposal management, knowledge management and/or marketing/writing/communications experience; some supervisory experience preferred
+ Bachelor's degree in Marketing, English, Journalism or relevant field from an accredited college or university
+ Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
+ Some travel will be involved to attend internal meetings and trainings
+ For internal candidates, a historical performance record of consistently performing at their current job level or above
