The Finance Director – Corporate M&A Reporting & Analysis is responsible for acting as a functional manager over certain corporate reporting and analysis functions and processes. Assists with overseeing the enterprise-wide support to explain the drivers of consolidated results, including the integration key metrics, segment data, and analysis. As a member of the Corporate Integration Management Office, this position will help advance our reporting of success measures for Anthem’s M&A integrations. They will maintain strong relationships with our executive stakeholders and finance partners across the organization to ensure widespread support for integration reporting initiatives. This position will drive the development and ongoing maintenance of Anthem’s official M&A integration reporting mechanisms. They will translate deal commitments into measurable/trackable metrics that will be reported throughout the integration journey and ultimately into the official lookback memo reporting suite.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

+ Works with corporate management to develop reporting and analysis policies and procedures.

+ Maintains regular communication with SBU/CEE finance teams to discuss reporting & analysis processes, expectations, and deliverables.

+ Helps facilitate/coordinate executive leadership team (ELT) reviews of M&A Integration success metrics.

+ Designs other ELT reporting packages and M&A dashboards.

+ Actively involved in preparing and reviewing analysis to support the communication of quarterly results to investment community by CEO and CFO.

+ Creates and prepares Board of Director presentations related to M&A success metrics.

Qualifications

+ Requires a BS/BA in Finance or Accounting; 5-7 years experience with financial reporting and analysis, general accounting, or other finance-related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

+ MBA, CPA, CMA, FSA, ASA, and/or CFA preferred.

+ Insurance accounting experience, particularly with a large health insurance company preferred.

Annual Salary Range*: $97,760.00 - $122,200.00

Actual compensation may vary from posting based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
