Description
Key Role:
Assist the Wideband Networking Waveform (WNW) lead engineer and participate in the developmental testing of WNW by reviewing test deliverables and other associated and referenced CDRLs, software test plan, software test description and software test reports. Report the results of major test events, including confidence tests, WNW Interoperability Quick-Looks (WIQs), formal qualification tests, field experiments, and developmental and operational tests at network integration exercise events. Ensure interoperability with the Enterprise Network Manager system. Plan for improvements and enhancements to WNW and mid-tier networking with other Army communication and satellite program offices. Assist government radio platform program managers and staff with porting and operating the WNW waveform.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications: -6+ years of experience with network engineering-Experience with government communication system and network engineering-Experience with design functions related to RF communication systems, design related to RF modem design, hardware associated with computing and digital processing systems, peripheral systems typically associate with communication and processing systems, and mobile network and Internet Protocol (IP)-Experience with spectrum management, radio interoperability, and interface recommendations-Ability to provide oversight, verification, and validation to ensure compliance with voice and data architecture, network design, and software specifications-Ability to obtain a security clearance-BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications: -Knowledge of government DoD Acquisition in a DoD government acquisition program office preferred
