Talent Admin & Production Coordinator - The Walt Disney Studios - Burbank, CA

The Walt Disney Studios encompasses the creation, production, promotion, sales, acquisition and domestic and international distribution of live-action and animated motion pictures, DVD releases, live stage plays, and music and soundtrack recordings.

The Talent and Production Administration group oversees and supports the business needs and daily operations of Disney ABC TV and Studio Feature Films high level overall talent deals and productions. The group’s aim is to add value by providing innovative and cost effective solutions while adhering to TWDC policies in support of a dynamic workplace and creative process.


The Talent and Production Administration Coordinator will act as liaison between talent and production principals and all support services necessary for the planning, execution and completion of all talent and production business needs and requests.
Responsibilities
Manage the Creative Talent Deal office move-ins and relocations
• Start up and shut down of office space for productions and talent deals, including budgeting, cost monitoring, managing of schedules and personnel to complete the office set up. This can include furniture, phones, IT requirements, security, paint, AV equipment, keys, mail codes, directories, etc.
• Responsible for building and maintaining positive working relationships with clients, partners and peers
• Manage expectations of production executives and talent deal principals while supervising in-house and outside service providers
• Collaborate with show accountants on setting up/moving talent principal and staff from overall deal to show during production phase
• Act as point of contact for talent and production principals and supervise operational services including, Facility Services (Electric, Plumbing, Janitorial, Landscaping, Maintenance, etc.) and Studio Services (Security, Fire, Safety, Risk Mgt., Parking, etc.) which encompasses planning and overseeing the execution of these requests to ensure all deliverables are met. Also responsible for obtaining cost quotes and purchase orders on back lot service requests for productions.
• Monitor and maintain general up keep and repair of all buildings within the talent and production portfolio
• Mentor and train staff and/or temporary personnel and act as Crisis Management Site Coordinator
• Process urgent and timely talent and production issues
• Provide expertise and support to Talent and Production Administration Manager, Coordinators and special projects as required
Basic Qualifications
Minimum 1 year with talent and production coordination displaying quality guest service and the ability to interact, educate, and influence all levels of management.
• Microsoft Office Windows and SAP
• Strong organizational skills
• Identify solutions, problem solve, and think proactively
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Strategic thinking
• Ability to multitask under pressure
• Work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook, Calendar, Internet Explorer
and skill level beyond those listed in basic qualifications

BS/BA preferred
Required Education
High school degree or GED equivalent
