Director of Admissions and Outreach - Fusion Academy & Learning Center - California

We are looking for a positive, confident, entrepreneurial, and energetic self-starter to join the leadership team of our Fusion Academy and Learning Center as Director of Admissions & Outreach at our Woodbury location. Fusion Academy is a comprehensive, private middle school and high school (grades 6-12) and a full service tutoring facility (for all ages). Fusion specializes in helping students who have individualized learning and emotional needs through a dynamic, one-to-one method of teaching and mentoring. Fusion teachers adapt to each student's individual needs and his or her unique ability to learn. Fusion also allows for year-round scheduling designed to meet the demands of students whose needs don't necessarily conform to a "traditional" semester calendar.

Position Summary
The Director of Admissions and Outreach (DAO) serves as the admissions, marketing, and outreach Director for the individual school location. The DAO's primary responsibilities include but are not limited to enthusiastically marketing the school through relationships in the professional community that result in student enrollment. The DAO will also provide opportunities for outreach through event planning on and off campus.


Key Job Responsibilities
The DAO will be responsible for creating awareness through:
• Promoting Fusion enrollment opportunities and programs to professionals such as therapists, psychiatrists, and educators in the surrounding communities, via phone calls, emails and face-to-face visits both on and off campus.
• Developing new relationships with local associations & community-based organizations and maintaining existing relationships with these groups by attending group meetings.
• Creating opportunities to bring visitors onto the Fusion campus.
• Recording and reporting key metrics through use of internal tracking systems.
• Managing a marketing, outreach and admissions budget.
• Coordinating school marketing, public relations and event management.
• Developing an annual community awareness and outreach plan.
• Coordinating a Parent Ambassador Group and organizing Parent Education Meetings.
• "Owning" the student admissions process, including initial inquiries from parents, campus tours, and ensuring a "celebrity experience" for the enrolling family.
• Utilizing Social Media outlets to post updates about the campus.
• Other duties as assigned.
