Senior Technical Lead - vAnalytics - SDWAN - Cisco (California)

Who you'll Work With

We're looking for a bright and motivated Technical Leader to join the SDWAN Enterprise Routing development team, you will be part of a fast growing and industry leading product-line in the space of SDWAN, Analytics, cloud, virtualization.

SDWAN Analytics team provides our customers with state-of-the-art analytics and insights. This team's innovations span analytics, security, artificial intelligence, machine learning, security, automation, and more. As part of this team you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of assignments.

You are someone who thrives in a dynamic start-up like environment. You have experience in managing software development teams and at least 11+ years of software engineering experience and are looking for an opportunity to shine, a team where you can lead, thrive, one that recognizes your capabilities and rewards you accordingly.

Qualifications/Skills

* You have 5 to 7 years of Managing teams experience.

* You have 11+ year’s software and architecture experience in a technology based company with 4+ years focused on cloud environments and their supporting infrastructures

* You have experience in the design and development of cloud-native scaled out and distributed applications that use micro service architecture, networking and system expertise, strong tooling, monitoring, and cloud management experience

* You have excellent skills working in small, highly technical teams employing Agile/Scrum practices.

* You are able to pull a diverse group of individuals with different goals together to facilitate, moderate, and influence productive discussions driving towards results

Required Experience

* Experience in managing software development projects in SaaS environment

* Strong knowledge and experience in building high volume and real-time analytics applications

* Strong networking and preferably SDWAN concepts is necessary.

* Experience with cloud computing services like AWS, Azure, etc.

* Experience in building various applications in a Microservice architecture

* Experience in building scalable stream processing applications using Kinesis, Kafka, Flink, Cassandra, Kubernetes, Docker and Elasticsearch.

* Proficiency in Unix/Linux environments

* Proficient on SQL, Python, Scala, Java and other modern programming languages/technologies

* Experience with AWS services (EC2, EMR, Fargate, Redshift, S3, IAM, Route53, RDS, VPC, Lambda, SQS, SNS, EKS, Load Balancers, CloudWatch, API Gateway) is plus

* Ability to work across cross-functional teams to discuss and close on the technical solutions

* Passionate about answering critical business questions through data
