Manager, Procurement Programs & Operations - Hologic (California)
The Manager, Procurement Operations Programs leads the Diagnostic Supply base scale up projects, coordinates DOD (Department of Defense) and BARDA funding activities with supply base. In addition, will build systematic tracking tools on capacity scale up projects and will lead the particular expansions. Position will lead negotiations, supplier contract & project manage the expansion, dual sourcing & quality/delivery projects by working cross functionally. This role will design and execute a long-term vision for strategically sourcing Hologic’s $180M+ Diagnostic direct & Indirect spend. Strong business partnering with respective category managers, nurturing stakeholder relationships, execution of sourcing strategies, and development of guidelines for managing this spend. Also responsible for developing VIP strategies and participate on annual budget process with the goal of standard cost reduction, material VIP projects and enable cash matrix by payment terms negotiations, freight cost reductions and prompt payment discount programs.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Design Direct & Indirect sourcing strategies and partnerships for Diagnostic business with third parties to ensure delivery of annual savings targets and overall value improvement for business partners.
• Oversee management of suppliers by implementing balanced scorecards and driving initiatives to improve Productivity, Delivery, and Quality of our supplier partnerships.
• Influence cross-functional Hologic leadership and partners to drive continuous improvement in the portfolio of categories through Process and Policy enhancements.
• Executive leadership for the Purchase-to-Pay process stream across the global organization.
• Implement end-to-end channel strategy and transaction processes, accountability for service-delivery execution and oversight of enabling technology decisions.
• Lead requirements definition for source-to-settle technology, including eProcurement, eContract and eRFX.
• Oversee the design and continuous improvement of analytical applications which support a mature global procurement function, including spend, savings, contracting, sourcing execution, supplier performance management, and risk management.
• Oversee the enhancement and maintenance of a global Supplier Risk Program.
• Steward critical operating mechanisms for the direct sourcing function, including contract pipeline management, VIP and financial reviews and strategic business reviews.
• As directed, lead special projects for Global Supply Chain.

Education
• BS/BA in Business, Engineering, or a related field
• Master’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
Experience
• Subject matter expertise in a variety of spend categories
• Strong program management & Collaboration skills

• Exceptional negotiation, conflict resolution and presentation skills
• Excellent decision-making and analytical capabilities
• Proven track record of developing strong relationships with stakeholders and established trusted advisor

Education and Experience:
• BS/BA in Business, Engineering, or a related field
• Master’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
• 15+ years experience in Supply Chain, Strategic Sourcing, Operations, or equivalent
• Experience performing as a strong team leader that enjoys a fast pace atmosphere
• Experience developing and implementing strategies that have yielded measurable business results
Travel:
• Up to 20% travel
