Massage Therapist-Women's Health Resource Center - Sutter Health (California)
Position Overview:
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
This position is responsible for performing massage therapy and related administrative duties.
Qualifications:
Education:
+ High school diploma or equivalent required
+ California Massage Therapy Council CMT Ceritificate
+ 32 hour certification in pre- and post-natal massage
+ Certification deep tissue massage
+ CPR certification required and may be completed within three months of employment at the WHRC.
Knowledge:
+ Ability to demonstrate massage techniques
+ Knowledge of massage therapy and its impact on health
Experience:
+ Minimum of 4 years experience in massage therapy
+ Minimum 500 hours of massage experince in a hospital, rehab or chiropractic setting
