Patient Access Representative - Aerotek (California)

Job Description:

+ Answering 100 – 150 calls per day on a multi-phone line

+ Utilize protocol for patient lookup to identify patients accurately

+ Schedule appointments per company guidelines

+ Pre-register patients

+ Transfer calls

+ Insurance verification

+ Report on any customer concerns

+ Answering questions and providing customer service to patients

+ Obtaining/updating patient charts with registration and eligibility documentation

+ Making outbound calls to confirm and obtain pre-registration information

+ 50,000 square foot administration building

+ Hands on learning and independent work stations

+ Full break café with access to variety of food preferences

+ First day of work will be onboarding followed by two weeks of in class training learning Athena, UHC EMR system

+ After training you will be transferred to the floor and the nesting area so you have assistance and direction through your first few weeks on the floor
