Please Note: This position may be filled at either the Learning Experience Designer II or Learning Experience Designer Senior level. Manager will determine level based upon the selected applicant’s skillset relative to the qualifications listed for this position.”

Learning Experience Designer II or Sr.

Responsible for analyzing, designing, building, and implementing business-aligned, integrated learning solutions using a variety of techniques and tools. Primary duties may include but are not limited to:

+ Collaborates with business partners on expected business outcomes.

+ Participates in needs analysis and recommends effective learning solutions.

+ Collaborates with other content developers, graphic designers, technology consultants, technologists, and other project team members on design, development, implementation, and evaluation of learning solutions.

+ Uses all approved processes, tools and templates to standard for development and reporting.

+ Actively maintains all content.

+ Participates in quality review process.

+ Participates in and contributes to Learning & Development sub-teams, communities of practice, and other opportunities to enhance knowledge and skill.

+ Provides technical direction on design and development of web-based learning technology projects, collaborates with web content owners, graphic designers and other project team members on requirements, design, development and implementation of projects using multimedia software.

+ Facilitates train-the-trainer sessions, meetings and other events.

+ Leads mid-sized learning design and development efforts.

+ Develops sub-project plans, functional specifications, and schedules.

Qualifications

Required for Learning Experience Designer II:

+ Requires BA/BS in related field and 2 or more years training and development experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Required for Learning Experience Designer Senior:

+ Requires BA/BS in Computer Sciences, Instructional Technology, or related field; 4 or more years of web design/development, and 5 or more years supporting a training/learning organization; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Qualifications for both levels

+ Master’s Degree preferred.

+ Agile Methodology experience preferred to include knowledge and experience using Jira platform (managing and creating boards, pulling data and reports, etc.)

+ Knowledge of relevant course delivery platforms and Learning Management Systems required

+ eLearning course development to include storyboarding using Articulate 360 software

+ Experience with Assima and Centrical platform preferred

+ Must be highly organized, flexible and be able to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding, deadline-oriented environment, while managing competing demands simultaneously.

+ Innovative and visionary mindset required to strategically drive the transformation of the learning experience.

+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact frequently with technical subject matter experts and management for the purpose of gaining and clarifying knowledge

+ Self-motivated, innovative, and able to assume responsibility and work autonomously in a professional manner
