Information Security Analyst 4 - Identity and Access Management - Sutter Health - Mather Field, CA
The Information Security Analyst (ISA) 4 position is within the Data Security Office, reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer or the Operations Manager. This is an expert level technical position on the Information Security Team. This position is to lead key specific service catalog disciplines within the overall Security Program, example areas may include, but are not limited to: Risk Management, Incident Response, Identity and Access Management, Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standards Compliance, Vulnerability Assessment and IT General Control – design and monitoring. The ISA 4 represents the Data Security Office on project teams and other IS initiatives and works with other IS operations support departments to identify and recommend solutions related to their discipline other security-related issues. This position is to lead a program within Data Security including; development of the budget, the plan, making recommendations to the CISO regarding strategy and requirements for maturing the program, the roadmap & milestones on the roadmap/plan and report against the progress to that plan. The ISA 4 determines the priorities & approach, they monitor the budget, and they lead staff that supports this body of work (contractors/consultants, not necessarily FTEs). The ISA 4 does not lead people, rather the ISA 4 leads initiatives that support the DSO Strategic Plan through bodies of work that they implement and oversee.
Qualifications
Supports Identity and Access Mgmt (IAM) Services, including Service Line support of Enterprise PAR, Enterprise Identity provisioning, Sailpoint, CyberArk, and Centrify among other IAM initiatives, projects and programs.
Education:
Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience. Master's degree preferred. CISSP desired.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience:
Relevant work experience as an IT Security Analyst, Security Engineer or related field as typically acquired in 9 or more years. Three to five (3 to 5) years of healthcare information technology industry experience or experience in IT Security audit is highly preferred.
Knowledge
Strong functional knowledge of typical healthcare business workflow and processes
Thorough knowledge of information systems security concepts and current information security trends and practices including security processes and methods.
Knowledge of Federal and state IS security and privacy-related regulatory requirements.
Detailed knowledge regarding NIST, HIPAA, FIPS, and other recognized industry security standards and best practices.
Skills
Strong technical skills in planning, administration, and management of information systems, operational and technical security controls, and security risk analysis and management.
