Job Description Summary Responsible for the management of a portfolio of performing multi-industry commercial loans granted under the US SBA 7a and 504 loan programs, USDA B & I loan program, and the bank's "stand alone" conventional loan program. Responds, analyzes, and recommends loan servicing actions. Obtains and reviews borrower's financial information. Manages assigned portfolio payments and collections. Identifies troubled loans and recommends appropriate loan grading, corrective action, and/or transfer to special assets. Reviews loan documentation and collateral security; initiates corrective action as appropriate. Generally services a minimum of 900 loans of moderate to high complexity. Essential Job Functions Manages payment and collection efforts prior to classification of loans to workout or liquidation status. Responds to borrowers’ servicing requests for assumptions, entity changes, partial change of ownership, deferments, and release or exchange of collateral. Recommends appropriate loan grading and loan accrual/non-accrual status. Prepares internal and external loan reporting. Maintains positive relationships with SBA district offices, loan servicing centers and CDC. Participates, as directed, in internal and external loan reviews and exams. Undertakes training and education as appropriate to maintain or improve professional skills.
